This might seem like the simplest thing for some, but trust me this can be incredibly difficult when you struggle to find a reason to get up. Laying in bed can seem like an easy escape, avoiding the day and letting it roll by to the next, but getting up early will give you more time to accomplish tasks, clear your head and get more out of the day. Don't be afraid to distance yourself from someone who doesn't add any positive value to your life, even if it means not having them in your life anymore. If that person doesn't bring out the best in you and doesn't value the great things about you, it's sometimes necessary to cut ties with them. Never feel like you have to put up with someone who makes you unhappy. Go after it. That idea you can't stop thinking about? Make it happen. Having something to put all your passion and energy into is a huge turning point in finding happiness. Set yourself mini goals in achieving your dream, research the steps needed to succeed in the first part of your plan. Ever hear of people having a 5 year plan? Start yours now. Right now, jot down your ideas and go. Society can make it seem like you have to have everything figured out by a certain age but in reality, most of us don't know exactly what we're doing. If you're unsure about your future, don't rush into making decisions and don't feel bad about taking more time than others to decide. Life is a huge lesson and don't be afraid to not follow the crowd. If the School->Uni->Job route isn't for you, don't feel like you have to fit in with the rest. Again, this might seem like an incredibly straight forward thing but for some, even the concept of going outside can seem unachievable at times. Go down to the river and walk along the bank or to your nearest forest park, just getting fresh air and taking in the scenery can be enough to clear your head.
