Belfast is a hugely popular tourist destination and it's only as I've gotten older that I realise how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful place. When you grow up in a certain place, you tend to have a mindset that you need to make it out of it and find something bigger and better, but I love that no matter where I end up in the world, I'll always be able to call Belfast my home. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing when you think of the fate of the ship, but it's still pretty cool that it was built here. There's also water sports during the day for anyone who can bare the ice-y water. I actually wore this skirt a few times during the trip and changed up the accessories, which you'll see later in the post. Who cares!</b> And if I haven't posted in a week and I see my followers go down, it's like a subliminal pressure to please these strangers on the internet who I have no obligations to. We quickly imagine <b>the worst case scenario</b> when it comes to change. We think up all the possibilities that could go wrong and make it hard for us, but we never really focus on the positives. They choose to hold on to something that's bad for them because they don't know how they'll cope with the change of being on their own. </span></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="color: #444444; font-kerning: none; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="color: #444444; font-kerning: none; font-size: large;"><u>I've experienced this myself.</u> </span></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="color: #444444; font-kerning: none; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="color: #444444; font-kerning: none; font-size: large;">I spent years with someone who had a mental hold on me, critiqued my weight and my appearance, had little respect for me. My life outside the relationship wasn't great either but I couldn't make myself leave that person over the fear of not being able to cope on my own, fear of the change that was to come. I thankfully was able to leave the relationship behind and move on with my own life and although the change was difficult, it was something that needed to be done.
